iOS 5.0.1 Battery problems still not fixed

I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1 OTA yesterday and i have still got problems with the battery draining.

Many users posted the same problems.

“Upgraded to 5.0.1 this morning. Still draining at the exact same rate. Unplugged with a full charge 2 1/2 hours ago, and already down to 80% with light usage. Just lost 2% during a 15 minute shower. I see no difference at all.”

Let’s hope there will be a solution for this anoying problem soon!

How to jailbreak (tethered) iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 3Gs/4

Today I will show you how to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 3Gs/4.

1. Update iTunes to 10.5.
2. Download iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1. You find them in the Downloadsection.
3. Plug in iPhone and open iTunes.
4. You´ll better backup your iPhone.
5. Now Restore with iOS 5.0.1 firmware, you downloaded earlier.
6. After you updated to iOS 5.0.1, choice “Configure new iPhone”. The backup will be restored later.
7. Now you have to activate your iPhone via WIFI! Be sure you have signal!
8. Download redsn0w 0.9.9b8 WINDOWS – MAC !
9. Now open redsn0w and then click on “EXTRAS”, then “SELECT IPSW” and select iOS 5.0!
10. Back and click on “JAILBREAK”!
11. Be sure you activated “INSTALL CYDIA”!
12. Power off your iPhone.
13. Enter DFU Mode!
14. Now redsn0w will jailbreak your iPhone.

How to activate Panorama Camera Mode in iOS 5 without Jailbreak

Here is a short guide how to enable panorama camera mode in iOS 5.x.x!

1. You need to create a new backup with iTunes.

2. Download iBackupBot from the internet.
3. Select the latest backup.
4. Now you need to edit the “Library/Preferences/com.apple.MobileSlideshow.plist” file.

5. Go to and insert:

6. At least: right click on the backup and restore.

7. Finished. Now you can use your panorama camera mode.

No iPhone 5, only iPhone 4s will be announced!

The iPhone 4s will have only some changes and there will be a “cheaper” iPhone 4 version.
Here is what you have to expect at tomorrows Apple Keynote!

- iPhone 4s with faster chipset (Dual-Core-A5), 8MP Camera, 1GB RAM.
The iPhone 4s will cost as much as the acutall iPhone 4 version.

There will be also an “cheaper” version of the iPhone 4 with only 8GB and plastic case, cause the glas casing is to expensive.

Apple officially announced that there will be a new mobile phone.
We don´t know yet if its the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S or even both.

Here are the most known features of the upcoming mobile from Apple.

  • Storage Capacity: Apple is offering 16 GB and 32GB iPhone since 2009, so apple is aware this it would be hard push iPhone 5 without having 64 GB of storage. iPhone 5’s lowest model will come with 32G of space and 64G of memory.
  • Signal Strength: Unlike iPhone 4, iPhone 5 is not having signal issue, as they are offering the strongest signal strength of any iPhone model ever even the best of any Smartphone to ever come to market.
  • Face Recognition: The new iPhone 5 will have Face Recognition for Security sake so that you don’t have to worry about other people stealing your phone and trying to use it.
  • Thickness: All three iPhone had thinner bodies than the previous model so the iPhone 5 can be the thinnest yet & much nicer overall body design of the phone.
  • Longer Battery Life: iPhone 5 will have Up to 14 Hours of Talk Time On The 3G and 7 Hours on the 4G.
  • Video Chat: Video Chat on a 4G network instead of a slow 3G one
  • A5 Dual core processor: For Outstanding Video Quality Apple May Introduce A5 Dual Core Process with iPhone 5
  • Screen: Shatter Resistant and Scratch Resistant Screen
